These terms cover your use of AskItti, a service that answers board game rules questions. By using AskItti you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Your account

You need an account to ask questions or rate answers. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account. You must be 18 or over to create one, and by creating an account you confirm that you are and that you accept these terms.

Answers can be wrong

Answers are written by AI models from game rulebooks and from discussions on BoardGameGeek. We quote the rulebook where we can, but the AI can misread a rule, miss an exception, or rely on a forum post that turns out to be mistaken. Check the quoted page when it matters. The rulebook and the publisher's official rulings always take priority over AskItti.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use AskItti for anything unlawful or harmful
• try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or scrape it with automated tools
• use it to copy out rulebooks or other material in bulk, or to build a competing dataset
• submit personal or sensitive information about other people

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Publishers and rights holders

Rulebooks, game names, artwork and cover images belong to their publishers and creators. Forum posts belong to their authors on BoardGameGeek. AskItti is not affiliated with or endorsed by any publisher. Game data and cover images are provided by BoardGameGeek.

To answer a question, AskItti quotes short extracts from the relevant rules, credits the source and links back to it. We don't make rulebooks available to read or download in full. We believe this is fair dealing for the purpose of quotation under UK copyright law, and fair use where that applies.

If you're a rights holder and want your game or material removed, email us at support@askitti.com and we'll act on it promptly.

The service is provided as is

AskItti is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or stop the service at any time. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of AskItti or from relying on its answers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant we'll let you know on the site. Continuing to use AskItti after an update means you accept the new terms.
